The fib Model Code (2020) plan (CHF 280 per year) allows users to digitally access the fib MC(2020) via the fib online viewer. This plan also includes all the relevant fib bulletins and CEB supporting documents (about 60 documents). MC(2020) users will systematically have access to the latest version of the Model Code, which will be kept up to date.

The vision for fib Model Code for Concrete Structures 2020 (MC2020), as a single merged general structural code, goes beyond the point reached by fib MC2010, recent ISO codes, such as ISO 16311, and the current Eurocode activities to extend their application to existing structures. The envisaged development is intended to result in an internationally recognized and comprehensive fib Model Code 2020 for new and existing concrete structures. This work is to be taken forward by TG10.1: Model Code 2020. It is clear from discussions at the TC that Commission 10 and TG10.1 should have wide international representation.

3rd Blind Simulation Competition results

This document presents the results of the 3rd Blind Simulation Competition carried out within the scope of the fib WP 2.4.1 Modelling of Fibre Reinforced Concrete Structures. The object of the benchmark is to predict some important behaviour aspects of a slab reinforced with conventional flexural reinforcement and fibres subjected to punching loading configuration.
