fib conceptual design webinar

Following the great success of the first fib Symposium on Conceptual Design of Structures held in Madrid in 2019, the fib is organizing a second Symposium on Conceptual Design of Structures that will take place in September 2021 in Switzerland.

In order to introduce the spirit of this event, a pre-Symposium in the form of a webinar will be held online on September 9, 2020, from 13:00 to 15:30 CET. The pre-Symposium will present a series of case-based discussions on the approach and sensitivity to the conceptual design of structures by a series of invited speakers:

• Hugo Corres Peiretti (civil engineer, Spain)
• Cecilia Puga (architect, Chile)
• Joseph Schwartz and Aurelio Muttoni (civil engineers, Switzerland)
