The fib supports Tecniche Tradizionali e Innovative per la Riqualificazione di Strutture Esistenti in Calcestruzzo Armato, which will take place from 12 to 13 October 2023 online.
The recent history of the national built heritage has highlighted with great force some serious elements that are increasingly characterizing over the years: the degradation and obsolescence of materials and structural systems and the inadequacy of many of the latter in the face of the frequent seismic events that occur in our area. The growing awareness of this situation has also prompted government bodies to take an interest in it and dedicate their resources. In this framework, the aim of the seminar is to present the main structural technologies capable of addressing the issues introduced, thus guaranteeing existing buildings a higher level of safety and a significant extension of their useful life.
